We’ve done a frig of a lot this last week on high emotion and very little sleep while under almost constant fire watch and evacuation alert. Over the river ( and through the woods )

Writing from Phoenix where we have been spending some lovely, if mucous-filled days in the company of my family. chazpure and I both either had a relapse or more likely caught a new sinus bug just before our scheduled holiday trip. Argh. Despite the lurgy, we've had quite a nice time thus far. I hope your days have also been merry and bright.

If you have them to spare, I'd appreciate if you could send some well-wishes or wellness vibes to my mother. She has a filthy chest bug she can't seem to shake (it started before the holidays) and the medications the doctor put her on are affecting her pre-existing conditions, as well as dehydrating her. *worries*

The power, like the internet, has been up and down today with our local storms (which look awesome from space).

I've been seriously under the weather thanks to the Colby Fire, which kick-started my asthma and sinuses into hell-drive and precipitated a bad flare. Dealing.
